What the collection records

Most events are ordinary field updates; the admissions/removals/reappearances are the flow signal. A reappearance after removal is the closest recidivism proxy this feed supports.

Movement here is inferred from nightly comparison events: a profile appearing for the first time counts as an admission, disappearing as a removal, and returning after a gap as a reappearance. It is a behavioural proxy for corrections flow, not DOC-reported admissions/releases. Facility-level ingress/egress and net change are drillable on the Facilities page.
